Have I just been screwed on eBay???

I had that happen to me a couple of weeks ago, however, it was a $6 lighter which I highly doubted was worth his ~100+ feedback. Turned out his address was wrong or something so eBay suspended the account. Nevermind that he forgot to ship it until two weeks later.

I spoke to paypal and they said that I should send him an email saying that if he does not contact me within 24 hours I will be forced to start the dispute resolution process, but they said that regardless, I am covered up to $1000
