Have I hit my OCing limit?

ok, as i type this, my E4500 is running happily at 266FSB x 11 for 2.93GHz. It's running at stock voltage of 1.325. (1.28-1.296 under load due to VDroop) But I have tried to OC it further. It isn't stable at 1.4V (BIOS) at 3.2GHz. It isn't stable at 1.35V at 3GHz.

Have I just hit the limit of my chip?

If you can hit 2.93Ghz at stock volts, then certainly you should be able to go higher with added volts. Are you sure that you've disabled C1E and SpeedStep, and have your RAM multiplier set to 1:1?

Oops... Forgot to disable speedstep and C1E. Do they really make that much difference? VDroop isn't too bad, goes down 0.05 at most.

My chip hit 2.93 on stock volts but after that it required a lot of voltage. I left it at 3.0 ghz @ 1.4 volts and it's perfectly stable.
