As the title suggests have I got myself a failed motherboard?
My homeserver is based around a gigabyte motherboard and G550 processor, recently we have been having the following problems:
I have tried a different PSU, rotated the RAM around, disconnected everything accept the CPU and point four above never changes. Two different operating systems have been used and two different boot drives.

My homeserver is based around a gigabyte motherboard and G550 processor, recently we have been having the following problems:
- Computer randomly fails to wake up via WOL
- Computer wakes and randomly then no network connections can be made from external devices and when trying to login on the system I give up after 10 minutes from typing password but never getting to Windows (No HDD activity)
- Computer wakes and randomly and whilst you can ping the server you cannot make a RDC connection and when trying to login on the system I give up after 10 minutes from typing password but never getting to Windows (No HDD activity)
- When turning on from off the system fans and processor fan turn on for a couple of seconds (no post), turn off for a couple of seconds and then turn back on and boots normally.
