HI all. Ok, first off I'll say I probubly should keep my mouth shut when challenged with bets like this, but either way I've already committed to it, so here's the challenge.
A friend of mine and myself were talking. During the conversation, we talked about 3d artwork and other CGI related items. Well, as things went along, I was given the challenge of finding people on the internet who could do 3d animation that could make a music video based around air/space fighter combat. Not just finding them, but actually making the music video. After he gave me the challenge, he said that it couldn't be done and I couldn't find the people to do it just by asking on the internet only. I of course disagreed and accepted the challenge. Hence my predicament. Anyway, the music that I was presented with for basing the video around was "Dirty Vegas - Without You". The beat should lend itself to nicely to doing the video. Only one problem. I can't do 3d art or animation.
So, I'm calling on all the wonderful people on Anandtech to help me win this challenge. There's no prize except bragging rights and credit for your work. Problem is, the gentleman who fronted this challenge (A good friend of mine) has won every challenge he's put against me so far. I intend to win this one. It's kind of like playing against someone in a football game, except this is a challenge of mind and resources. Way more fun, less "day after" pains and no getting your face driven into the turf.
If anyone is interested in lending their 3d talents, I'd be glad to hear from you. I can only offer you fellow bragging rights, credit for your part of the work, and my thanks for your help. But anyone that can help I would really apreciate it. Please, help me win this challenge. It's time to break someone's winning streak.
Also, I do already have the entire video mapped out in the back of my mind. I just need help to make it happen. Thanks everyone!
