is that 120MB/s on a shared pci bus,

Isn't the difference of say a pci scsi card controller being used by the OS and all your apps, shared with sound card and nic as compared to a dedicated scsi bus.

To me it just makes sense to max out at the point u buy your hardware... because me buying a u160 pci card limitted by my 32bit pci bus, thinking atleast I can upgrade later, and when that time comes u320 will be the affordable standard.

Key features of the MSI K7 Master-S

Onboard Adaptec AIC-7899G 64-Bit, 66MHz, Dual Channel WideUltra3 SCSI
Currently, the Master-S is the only AMD-based solution that implements a 64-bit, 66MHz controller.

Unless I'm reading that wrong... I'll get full 64bit/66mhz getting the Master-S with onbaord instead of the Master with a PCI scsi
