Have I been hacked?

In COD4, I've been on level 55 for about a couple of weeks now, trying to get all the challenges completed before I go prestige and start all over again. Except, I noticed a few days ago, my challenges said “DONE” all the way to the end (even though I was not done yet) and I am unable to even try Prestige. I even have the gold-cross medal. Does that mean that my PS3 got hacked in some way? Is there any way of reverting this without creating a new PSN login? If so, what is it that happened so I can prevent it in the future! :colbert:
 
Somewhat... I guess this happened after I joined a FFA game where everyone was jumping really high... Same as the other post, I saw it harmless but left after a couple of minutes. Is there a solution to this? Or am I going to have to create another PSN account and hope for it to not happen again?
 
I actually play COD4; but the hack did happen in a TDM game. It is unbelievable how people don't care about others who play for fun like completing challenges and actually earning their Prestige. Now I go against people who are quite above my league and there is nothing I can do as I appear to be at the same level as them! 🙁
 
I just got into a hacked TDM server in MW2 on PS3. This is bullshit, I dont like medal of honor nor do I like Battlefield, and black ops lags so bad on PS3. I dont have a solid shooter to play anymore
 
At least you didn't get into a lobby where every kill got you negative 105445616465 XP and you went back to level 1. They had those on MW2 for awhile.

Yep, sounds like Call of Duty to me. That franchise has officially replaced Socom and Halo as the most cheated on game of all time.
 
Yesterday, I got into at least 5 hacked games/lobbies. In all cases I had to delete the slotted memory for COD4 so all colors and mod maps disappear. The worst hacked lobby was one were it even changed my weapon classes... it was bad bcause I had to reset everything. So if this is a known issue, is there any other multiplayer shooting game that is as good as COD4 but doesn't get hacked as much? If none, then what other console is better than the PS3?
