Have I been hacked? How is this possible?

I am getting emails from people I have never heard of saying that I am sending them junk mail.

It is happening on my Outlook Express and Hotmail account too.

I had a SIRCAM virus a couple of weeks ago but I got it all cleared up. Now these letters are
coming from people who were not in my address book.

Any ideas of what is going on here?

Update your virus definittions and run a thorough virus scan. It sounds like a virus you haven't found, yet.
