Have humans evolved (biologically) in the last 5000 years?

In order to evolve...the weak must die, preferably early before they can reproduce. Everything we do as a society usually helps keep the weak alive. So if anything, we're devolving.

Yeah, I've said that before. You've got capable, successful middle and upper class people who have 2-3 kids, and then some redneck cross breeding dumb as crap hicks who crank out 6 crotch dumplings, who then do the same. We, the "better", are a dying breed! I guess maybe in the grand scheme evolution would rather see a bunch of dumb breed-happy people, than more conservative. Darn!

You're assuming there is an intelligence genetics difference between the middle/upperclass and lower class. I think the differences between the middle/upper class are more due to opportunities than genetics.
