Hi,

I am just trying to get a grip on what is causing problems with my new build. At moment, half of the stuff is being replaced, but I fired Murphy this afternoon, so hopefully everything that can go wrong will cease to go wrong.

When I play video, I get screen freeze ups.. only video I have played has been with Dvico Fusion HDTV5 RT Tuner card.

I had a HIS 1900XTX.. contacted them for support for a long time.. no luck.. so decided to rma.. Newegg let me.. very good of them to do so since it was a few weeks past the 30 day time frame.

So.. are instances when you are watching things and they just pause on the screen on their own.. and hold for a couple seconds before resuming or.. in one case a couple hours ... i had just stepped out.. got distracted and when I came back.. the program I was watching with the tv tuner card was still stuck in same place.

So.. suspect TV Tuner card.. but.. don't know.. and just would like to fix.

Pull out the TV card and see if the problem persists. Check for driver updates. Try another slot for the TV card.
