here's the deal: I've got this thing called "perq's". I have 1300 of them, they're basically worth about $1-$1.50 per perq. They have a list of crap that I don't want, but the good news is that I can give them an item if it's made by certain vendors (sony tv >27", HP, toshiba, LG pping, trek, taylor made, yamaha electronics, tag heuer are just a few that made the list). An example of how these things work: I can get a 55" hitachi lcd projection tv w/ 720p for about 1150 perqs, a dell xps 1330 is 1180 perqs.

Any suggestions?

can't trade it in for cash. bmw is not on the list of vendors. it's definitely not "free" in that I paid income taxes on it last year, I just keep forgetting to use it. theoretically I could buy something with it and then sell it to somebody.

I already ahve a 61" 720p dlp samsung that I got 4 yrs ago from a similar program from my old company. That one is on the blink currently, but I wouldn't want to replace it with another 720p unit. the 1080p units are too expensive in the 55"+ size category or too small for what I can afford with my 1300 perqs.

any realistic ideas? these are not worth more than $1500-$2000, so please no more "buy a 335i" comments. besides, I already have a better car than that

I'm sure that most people on ATOT given 1k burning a hole in their pocket have a way to spend it or at least advice on how to spend it.

Me? I'd go for a TV, but that's just me and it sounds like you have a nice one. Are you in need of anything/hobbies we should know about that'll help.

If not, need a new one? Trek as in Trek Bikes? Time to get a Road Bike and some spandex maybe?

yes trek is bikes, sadly I already have a very nice road bike. the ones I listed are the main ones that I would consider, there are probably 150 others though

I would use the points for a laptop and resell it on atot or maybe craigslist. Can you get anything from Apple? As they have the best resale value for computer hardware as far as price fluctuation.
