Last night I was eating steak and I guess my girlfriend cut the steak up with the bones still in tact. Anyhow I chewed on a semi-hard piece of steak and somehow my front tooth kinda chewed it. I was like oh crap. And now it feels funny if I use it to bite on something or chew...

Anyone ever lose a permanent tooth? What happend? Did you get it replaced? Can they be surgically put back or what?

Chipped or fell off?

Nah it didn't chip or fall out. It just hurt.

In that case Noctural, do a search on Google for "root canal." :)

Yeah. My head is all deformed and stuff, and when my wisdom teeth came in on one side it started squeezing my existing molar and it got all infected. My face got all swelled up and I had to have it taken out. There's not even a gap there anymore, the new tooth moved all the way over where the old one was.

Yes Nocturnal, but dental implants worked for me :D

What's this implant that you speak of?

Basically, it's a titanium post screwed into your jaw-bone w/ a crown that looks "just" like a "regular/natural" tooth :)
