I bring this up because a prominent member of another forum I frequent was killed in an accident a month ago.

Yes, Soccerman is the only one that I know of. It was like two years ago... RIP man.
However, I don't know exactly what happened to HawkeyeNJ either. I thought he was a pretty frequent visitor, not sure if he just decided to stop going here or what.

I had forgotten all about him (well, it has been 2 years and we tend to remember the more sensationalized things). After reading my post in that thread, I remember talking to him rather regularly on ICQ

I never knew Michael Vickers (Soccerman) but he seemed like a great guy. The outpouring of support from ATOT was tremendous and was really touching.
There was a thread last month about the guy that was hit on the motorcycle and messed up pretty bad. He was a member here. He killed himself last month.

Nope, the vast majority of the people here have absolutely no life to begin with, making it impossible to lose their life. To die you have to have lived and sitting in your room neffing up your post count so that other lamers think you're important isn't living.
I've actually thought about this before. If I died, I would want someone to tell everybody here..
