have any electrical engineers/ comp eng taken field theory?

i am a Soph engineering and a lot of the upperclassem i have talked to dropped / failed EE due to this class, this is starting to scare me even tho it wont be till next year.

I am wondering if this class or equivalent is really that hard or is it just the teacher

i have taken/taking

comb logic, sequential circuits, analog circuits, microprocessor based systems, calc a, b, c and Differential Equations 1 and they arent that bad

Not sure about the engineering presentation on Electic field theory but E&M in physics requires Vector Calculus, Div and Curl will be your best friends or worst enemy before you are through!
