Have a wireless base station, possible to adjust how much bandwidth each connection gets?

I have a Microsoft wireless base station, I'm using it to split my Internet connection between several computers on my home network. I want to set it up so that one computer gets more bandwidth than the others, the others are just used for chat and browsing. THe main computer is used for downloading, and even whenall the others aren't in use, the main comp only gets a fraction of the bandwidth of the total line.

I used to have the main one connected directly to the modem so I know what the full speed of the connection is.

If possible I would like to avoid having to connect the modem directly to my main computer and having to leave it on all the time so the notebooks and other computers can access the internet.

The connection uses PPPoE, and the station is a microsoft MN-500 wireless base station.
