Not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this, but I have given advice about webcams several times, and I keep seeing questions pop up occasionally. I have had the opportunity to test a wide array of webcams, so I know a bit more about them than the average user, and I know which ones are best, but I'm tired of repeating myself. If there would be some interest in adding it to the FAQ, I'd be happy to do a final writeup on what to look for in a webcam, and which of today's webcams are good or bad.
I'm not asking for a guarantee that it'll be used, just that it'll be considered; I'd rather not waste my time if it's not going to be looked at.
