Have a scanner, not knowing what brand/model it is and I lack driver.

So, is there a driver that could be used? A generic scannerdriver or something like that?
This piece is quite old but I found it in my basement and I would like to use it.

xp has some in-built support for scanners though it's very basic.

BTW, how do you find it? I tried to install hardware but it didnt detect it or anything and I couldnt find any generic driver

If I remember correctly, Easyscan will work as a generic driver.

Easyscan didnt provide a driver for the scanner, it will serve its purpose once I have a TWAIN driver for the scanner

Still need a scannerdriver

Aren't there ANY labels anywhere on it? Can you post pics of the scanner?

Look for any model or other numbers on the bottom of the scanner. Then you can do a google search and find out what scanner it could be.
