have a questoin with Sound Blaster EAX console! help.

theres like 4-5 different things i can enable, such as effects, CSSM 3D, Kareoke, Time scaling, and clean up. If i dont check effects, will i not get effects in games, like BF2, or are they triggered by the game, and not the console. Also, should i enable CSSM 3D?

I don't think you need any of those for games. Most games I've played, you go to Options > Sound/Audio, and there should be a place where you can pick either hardware audio or hardware + EAX instead of software audio.

CSSM 3D is for changing a stereo source to surround sound, you don't need that as the game will already be multichannel.
Kareoke = off
I don't think you'd need to mess with effects, time scaling etc. That would be if you want to add additional effects or change default sound.
Under effects, is that the setting that allows you to change the environment (like bathroom, underwater, etc.)?
(I don't have a creative card so I've never played around with one really)

I'd say try it with everything disabled and see if you get surround sound in games. If you do, then everything should be working fine.

What card do you have? What speakers?

anyway, im using MSI K8N Neo4 SLI onboard creative live 7.1 24bit with creative 7.1 speakers.
