there are different ways of doing this
1. get a couple of USB NICs
2. get a USB cable designed to do it... i don't know of one off hand but i do know programs like Laplink come w/ them

For two computers talking USB, you don?t need a hub; you buy USB Direct Connect Connector. You plug it to the two computers, and install the software.

It is not very fast network, but you don?t have to open the computers, and easy to install.
