you can add ram & a new hdd (or 2 sometimes). Video cards are more rare to be able to upgrade, even when you can upgrade, its not like you can get a huge performance boost.

There *was* an add-on promoted a while back (by ASUS I think among others) that allowed you to plug in an external case to the Express port and have a video card in that (something like a 2600XT or so) and use that...

However I haven't heard of it actually being released..

ATI and Nvidia both made a big fuss about their interchangable video cards...however the reality is, that even if your laptop has the slot required, it doesn't guarantee that the card will work in your laptop.. you've also got to take into consideration power requirements and cooling..

Short answer...no you can't upgrade..

In all likelihood, you won't be able to upgrade the graphics card in a laptop, unless if it's in MXM (Mobile PCI Express) format. But even then, because MXM isn't a standard among all the laptop makers, MXM cards are expensive, rare, and often won't be compatible with your laptop even IF you have the right MXM slot for an upgrade.

mruffin75 refers to the Asus C90, which was built with upgradeability in mind.
