I have 3 hard drives in my system. 2 are Maxtor 30gig ATA 100 7200RPM in Raid 0 on the Highpoint controller on my Kt7A raid, the other is a 30.7gig Western Digital ata66 5400RPM. I was just listening to some MP3's on napster while I was connected to the internet, I need to copy a 1.34gig file from the WD to the Raided maxtors, when i did this, I got disconnected, and the MP3 started playing really choppy. I checked and I was at 100% CPU load. Was this because of the Raid controller working off the CPU? Or what. This is in Win2K. LMK if you need any more info.
