I went to abits site and looked for what processors the abit BP6 mobo supports and it said: CPU
Supports Dual Socket 370 processors (Based on 66/100MHz clock) So this would mean that it supports pentium 2 and 3's right. people have told me that it will only support celeron but on the site it just says socket 370 porcs 66 or 100 mhz fsb. can somebody clear this up for me? isnt max multiplier like 6.5 on this board too? This board also unofficially supports 133mhz fsb which could get me a max of 866mhz if the max multi is 6.5

I don't remember any P2's being in socket form, so I don't think it will take P2's.
It can handle Celerons and I thought the max multiplier was 8.0, but I am not sure.

It should support a 100fsb Celeron, but if you use 2 Celeron's, it won't work because the Coppermine128 Celeron's are SMP locked and will not run in a SMP configuration. It should also support 100fsb P3's
