I have a new amd 2500+ and it says the cpu temp is 45 is this normal?
is that too hot?
please let me know
thanks in advance

That is decent. It all depends on the ambient temperatures in your room you have your computer in and the heatsink and fan you have, giving us an idea of what heatsink and fan you have would make it easier for us to see if that is a normal temp.

to be honest im not sure what kind of fan i got
it came with heatsink on it and i got it from pcclub
i was scared cos i have an in celly 2.0 and its running right not at 24c
how can i check what kind of fan i have?
is there a way to make it cooler if i wanted?
thanks alot for the fast response

help please now it says my cpu fan is at 0 rpms
i opened it up and it looks like it running
im scared

Relax, it probably means you haven't got your cpu fan connected to the right connector (or it's not a 3 pin fan - unlikely). Cpu fan speed reporting also depends on the motherboard - how are you checking the fan speed? Through a utility from the motherboard manufacturer, or something else? Also, those temps are fine.
