I've got a phone interview for a helpdesk position in a few minutes and I was just told some of the questions by the recruiter..well not questions, but things I should know about (everything seems straightforward except outlook, i've never been a heavy outlook user so i'm just thinking wtf?)

Anyway:

1. What is an OST file in outlook
2. What is a PST file in outlook.
3. how do u find out how much mail is in your mailbox (it's not the amount in
parentheses, its something else. you find out by clicking on one of your messages or something like that)

Help me get a new job! 😀

never heard of an OST file.
a PST file is a personal folder file, stores your folders, emails, etc.
how much mail you have in a folder is listed at the bottom left, like in windows explorer. (4 items/objects)

Outlook should have a help and or how-to section under the help that will give a tutorial (sp) that should help.
