Have a pen fetish?

I have become extremely particular about what kind of pen I use. I have become partial to the ultra-fine point gel pens, many of which are only available from Japanese retailers. I recently put in an order to jetpens.com for $28 in pens! I was curious if anyone else has an office product fetish ~ie you greatly prefer one specific product over other, easily obtainable substitutes.

Fav pen:
Pilot HI-Tec-C

The Hi-Tec-C has an extremely fine line, and doesn't smear even just after writing. I also believe the ink is ~waterproof

Hadn't heard of that brand, might have to check em out

I must warn you, they run a bit more than $3 a pen. More like $50.

I'm slightly particular, once I find a brand I like I'll stick with it as long as they produce it. But no, no way in hell would I order $30 in pens, and definitely not from another country.

we didn't need milk anyway right? :p

As a college student I have the obligatory excess of Pilot G2's around here somewhere. In terms of nice pens I have a Waterman pen that was a graduation gift that I like writing with. Needs a new ink cartridge though.

No self respecting student carries a pen :p

I really like Pilot's BP-S. For some reason my parents always used these when I was a kid, and I haven't found anything that writes as well. Gel ink is nice, but gel pens apparently only come on medium and bold.. but not fine.

I used these when I was in elementary school too and I'd always unscrew both ends and blow the ink out like a blowdart.

I like the Swingline because it doesn't bind up as much as the Bostons so I kept my old stapler and nobody better try to take it because it's my stapler.

*Swipes nakedfrog's Swingline and runs around the thread laughing maniacally.*

I prefer certain pens, mainly finer point pens. I use the pretty common Uniball Micro black pens, but I don't have a very strong preference. Pencil-wise, I have a Zebra mechanical that I really like, so I try hard not to lose it. I don't insult other people's pen preferences, though, so I wouldn't say I'm at fetish level.

Uh, I use post-its like no tomorrow. And my paperclip sculptures are pretty nice too.
