Its a file that was created from unzipping an archive and one of the files doesnt delete...no matter what. It doesnt even have any info to say that it even is a file too! when i right click it, it says its 0 kb in size, and has no filename either. on the desktop it reads " .affs" or something redicuous and no matter what it wont delete, not even in safe mode. Is there any way to kill this file?

I had the same problem with a couple folders in Vista. The only way I was able to delete them was to take Ownership of the files via the Security tab on the Properties screen. It's also a couple screens deeper as well. I'm not at home so I can't give you the exact instructions on how to do it.
