I pulled a bad pc133 notebook memory stick from an IBM laptop and want to get it replaced. The brand is Hynix. I went on the website but did not see a way to get warranty support. I did a quick search through the forum and didnt pull any info on this either. Does anyone know if I can get warranty support for this failed chip and how? Thanks all!

You can contact one of the following:

1) If the notebook still has a warranty, please contact the vendor that you purchased it from.

2) If the memory module was purchased separately you can contact the place that it was purchased from.

Hynix mfg's the memory chips, but a 3rd party assembles the units.
