LOL, I have a spare XP-90 lying around...I'm not gonna do it but I'll look to see how I can fit it :)

But I don't know what would happen once you set the case vertical, will the card snap?

They used a PNY 6800gt, and it has that metal strip at the top. The guy claims that it works fine.

hmm might have to do that. my pc in my room took a beating last nite under some light bf1942 playing.

ambinet was probably close to 90

in my sonata case my amd hit a new record high for me 66C, the GPU boiled water @ 102C

system temp was around 58C according to ntune monitor. must have been close because the bios was beeping my pc and its set to do that at temps >66

i think the sonata is just not enough case for what i have in there now.

In those pics, looks like he eviscerated the fan from his Zalman 7000Cu heatsink and replaced it with a thicker unit.

At this point why didn't he go to watercooling?

Actually after I read the whole thing I noticed that he eventually switched to watercooling.

ive seen people use a vapochill lightspeed on a video card. i dont remember where i saw that...
