Have a 15 person Chevy van for sale. Should I list it or try Carmax?

The wife and I have decided to close our daycare. Just didn't work out like we hoped. In any case, we need to sell the business' 15 seat Chevy 1500 Extended Van. It is an 03, I believe, but not sure what the mileage is on it. It does have a dent on one side, but there is no frame damage.

In terms of getting it off my hands, I'm wondering if Carmax will give a fair price for the vehicle or we are much better off trying to sell it ourselves. For those who don't know, Carmax will buy your vehicle outright. I'm looking for the best time vs money value? Oh, and we owe nothing on the vehicle.

My wife is a director of a preschool/kindergarten and could use it. What do you want for it?

I woudl do that or paper or auto trader before you take a good size hit selling it to car max (they wont give you retail or market for it. They will buy it at black book value which could mean a couple grand you will loose).

Da Bang Bus..... hehehehehehe

The last time we went to a wedding, we called the 15 passenger van "Da Bang Bus". 2 girls and 13 guys. We later called our group da bang bus. Cause at the wedding we were 'da bang'. I dont think that town in north carolina had ever seen that much 'color' in its lifetime.
