I need to use a $75 coupon for HP in the next few days, or lose it, so I was thinking a monitor would be best if I could find one that makes sense. I don't have one now as I'm using a laptop, but I'll be bringing home a desktop in the next few days.
Anyone ever used this LA2306x? It's going for $209 on HP's site which would make at $134 after the coupon, which is hard to beat. I actually had this monitor picked out if we went with HP desktops at the office, but we ended up going with Dell so unfortunately I've never gotten to see one of these in person.
The only reason I wouldn't grab this is if people have had bad experiences with these monitors and/or another monitor going for under $200 would be much better. I'd then have to find something at the HP store that I need, and at this point the only other thing I could use is a video card, but nothing more powerful than a 6670 (maybe even 6750 - whatever will work in an old Dell Optiplex 755 w/ it's 305W PSU.). Since HP appears to have a pretty high markup on video cards, with a 6570 going for $169, I'm thinking this monitor is the best bet.
