This is going to be my First Car. I'm 19 living in Chicago. Which would be a good car that will give great gas milage for my price range? Guys I know nothing about cars I know some of you on here are very good at this kind of stuff so please help me out.

If $3k is all you have for a car, I'm guessing you don't have much money for repairs. Make sure you find something thats easy to find parts for, and obviously, something reliable.

No, No, No... I actually have friends. Ill look in to a Honda or Toyota.

If your friends will judge you on the car you have, then they are very shallow. A car is a car, no matter what. Get something cheap for about $1500, save the rest for repairs/insurance. You are almost guaranteed to write it off as a new driver within a couple of years, so don't bother spending too much money.

I have a Red 1993 Acura Integra that I will be selling soon, located in the Chicago suburbs. It's a very clean reliable car though it does have some cosmetic damage. $2950 is what I'm asking. KBB on this car in the condition it's in is about $3400 ...
