I wanna buy a 2007WFP from Costco (or should I buy directly from Dell - even if that means spending more $? Also, where can I get dell coupons for this monitor?)

So, there's been lots of complaints about the banding. Was it fixed by now?
Thanks :)

edit: Would I have to make "adjustments" with my eyes, coming from standard 19" CRT I used for 3 years?

Honestly, not a single panel we have gotten from Dell at work have a dead or stuck pixel. That accounts for about 40 monitors so far.

I've purchased about five of their LCDs as well, and never had a single dead pixel issue.

Damn, that's not it, not 2007WFP.

Qosis, SunnyD
I have no concern with Dell's quality (dead pixels) - at my school (3.500 people) we have TONS of Dell LCDs, along with IBM. Thanks for the input though.

The original question was about banding and coupons :)

Yes and no. I believe the A03 has been "fixed." I don't have an A02 for reference. The hack that they used requires you to use Desktop mode, though, if this is something that you care about.
