Hauppauge wintv question

I have a Hauppauge wintv tv tuner (878 chip) and am trying to use it with win xp. I can tune into channels but cannot get any sound. Any ideas?
 
Most of the Hauppauges I've owned had 1 mini plug that externally plugs into the sound card and Hauppauge card.
