Go to Amazon, search on "hoppity pvr-150mice" or similar. You can also find a link on the front page of www.GottaDeal.com.

The MCE version doesn't come with a remote or software. If you don't have Windows MCE and a MCE remote you'll need SageTV, BeyondTV, or other TV/VCR software.

Why take all the time to cut & paste the description info without posting a link?

Are we supposed to go to his site in his SIG file?

Is this true, I thought MCE supported up to 3 tuners

I am about to order, but am hesitant because they are more expensive than regular tuner cards.

Will this card improve my performance a lot by reducing processor utilization because it has on card encoding?

Thanks

Daniel

*edit* its not listed on the page here, but does it have hardware encoding and will it make a big difference?

This is a good price for the PVR150. The cheap tuner cards don't have hardware encoding which does make a big difference in processor usage. The older PVR250 is still over $100. The PVR150 is cheaper because it's a simpler design with fewer chips, but performance is supposed to be the same. The MCE edition is also cheaper because it doesn't come with a remote control. I have an ATI Remote Wonder already so don't need that. Now if only Amazon would just send me my $15 certificate code. Customer service says 8 weeks after my order which would be another month. :| grrr.....
