Alright guys, you're rather helpful so I'm asking another question!

When I just built my computer I put in the Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150 and everything. I'm not sure if it recognized it then, but it still won't. I've changed the pci slot, connected the cable wire, updated bios, and everything. It just won't show up. Anybody have any ideas???

What do you mean, "it won't show up?" Unless you are using Win MCE, the PVR-150MCE is not usable by Hauppauge's software. If you go to their website, they state that to use the PVR-150 in regular WinXP, you need to use some 3rd party software, such as SageTV. The Hauppauge Win2KTV app will not recognize the PVR-150MCE.

Now that I think about it, I don't recall if that applies to the PVR-150 non-MCE edition.

Not true, although Sage, Beyond TV or others will work much better than the Hauppauge SW. I have use 150MCE editions in XP rather than MCE. Just make sure you have everything installed correctly, these cards are very "tempermental" as far as what and in what order things get installed. Try this site as it is a great resource Link But like the above poster mentioned it isn't clear what you mean by not showing up, is this card even being seen in device manager?

The card isn't being seen by the device manager.

It's also the non-mce version of the card, so I would imagine that post doesn't apply here.

HELP! (im thinking of RMA'ing it)

If it doesn't show up at all, and you said you've already moved it to other slots, without another PC to test on, then I too would RMA it, sounds like maybe a bad card.
