I've got two and I'm trying to capture video from my VCR... It has audio and video inputs on the card, but Windows doesn't detect the card as capable of capturing audio.
if you go to sound and audio devices under control panel and click on the audio tab there is a section labeled sound recording... Does you 250 card show up there?
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the card, but it still doesn't show up. I'm just trying to use windows movie maker to capture, but if Windows doesn't see the audio capture device, no piece of software will.
I doubt it would show up as a seperate audio source. It does record audio but combined with the video. If you want just an audio file either record it threw your sound card or use the capture card to record a video and then use something to pull just the sound out of the video.
