any one used this card to watch digital cable yet??? i guess thats what they are for atleast its stated in the sheets. I want 2 know if this will work with my comcast digital cable in detroit, Mi

I dont think this is what the card is good for. I think it means you can capture HDTV with an anttenna not with digital cable.
HDTV programing will/can be transmitted over standard airwaves which your indoor or outdoor antenna can pick up.
I could be completely wrong.

that's correct, the wintv-d is only for over-the-air HDTV reception, which it apparently does pretty well (depends on your antenna). your digital cable is simply multiplexed digital signlas that requires a decoder box to convert it to a "normal" analog cable signal.
