Hauppage Win-TV Go recording problems

It starts to happen around 10 minutes into recording and just gets worse and worse. I have tried recording in different formats and with different codecs, also tried using different media players . Here are my system specs

Windows XP
P4 2.8 ghz
1gb DDR 2700 RAM
Hauppage Win-TV-GO
ATI Radeon 9800 pro
Soundblaster Audigy
