It is proven that Hawaii has many haunted areas.

Taken from this site:
Haunted :Q

This hotel is about 5 minutes away from where I live.....I know of 2 people
who live there who have confirmed the noises and the scary stories, and the
hotel was indeed built upon an ancient Hawaiian burial ground....:Q

"Lagoon Hotel, Big Island of Hawaii.
No address listed.

Once a popular vacation retreat until people started spotting ghosts there. This hotel was built on an old Hawaiian burial ground."

Not listed is the famous "Saddle Road" which takes you between Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea on the Big Island. Many people have died driving this road, and many reports have been made of sightings of ghosts or strange things along the road.

I know of many haunted areas in US States....some of us have to see it to believe it, but personally?
I'll just believe....I've heard enough.

IIRC at one stage the city sewers got flooded with ectoplasma aka pink goo and the GB's got caught inside.

Kekoa writes, "Near Rainbow falls in Hilo there is a group of old buildings said to be haunted by the souls of the dead babies that were killed in the building because they were handicapped. If you go there at night and turn off your car you can hear them cry the night away."

Lavagirl, any idea about this? I have been to Rainbow Falls a few times and never noticed any buildings around there and I have walked pretty much around the entire place.

The Michigan site like that is: http://dawghouse.topcities.com/michigan.html

Clarkston Cinema, Clarkston.
6808 Dixie, Hwy. Clawson, Michigan

From what I can tell, the cinema is now closed down but people once reported scratching and bumping noises as well as the shadows of people running on the screen. A little girl was also known to sit on the stage.

That one is really close to my house. The sign on the outside of the building says, "Closed for good!"

Yes, above Rainbow falls is the old Hospital building which is now
converted into a partial mental patient ward :Q

It is indeed haunted, and what he says is true.

You can't get there from Rainbow Falls, you have to drive further up.

You know, I gotta visit some of these places...I am not sure how long I would last though.

We have a house here in Vancouver that is supposed to be haunted. People would buy the house & move in......... but then would find there suit cases on the front steps the next morning :Q

Now a bunch of Buddist Monks live in that place.......... I guess they did something.......... they are still there.

Cheers,
Aquaman

We were scaring the crap out of each other in ROTC while we were on the East Range in Waipahu...my partner and I heard noises and smelled some odd smell. Even though our legs were hurting, we hauled much quicker after that...

Yes....all the stories are true.

Very scary.

I heard at the famous Pali lookout on Oahu, where there was the historical battle of the Hawaiian's way
back when....you can still hear battle cries and sounds of war late at night....very scary!!!

I know about those buildings, but are these the ones they are referring to?
