wow, what a white trash motherfvcker.

fixed.

but the guy does have a point... why make laws allowing protection of property and right to bear arms when you get arrested for exercising your privileges?

he shouldn't have shot at the girls, regardless of what point he's got. they weren't a threat.

oh, and she's pretty hot, by the way.

AFAIK, she was shot while in the car and NOT on his property.

Oh thats right, so red neck, hecks, and hill billies can feel good about shooting animals

yeas since only "red necks". "hecks" and " hill billies" own guns and hunt.
and make up the majority of the criminal orginization known as the NRA

"It's really something how homeowners defend themselves and the way the laws are written. We're the ones brought up on charges while the perpetrators get little or nothing," Davis said.

Yup, this guys sounds pretty dam psycho. And the girls were asking for trouble by trespassing on the grounds of a rundown house.

QFMFT!!!

I can't believe some of you folks who say they 'got what they deserved'... :| You people are just harsh.. no compassion what so ever.

Granted, they shouldn't have been f*cking around on his property. But this guy pulled out a rifle to settle it!! A RIFLE!! And any of you who think these girls deserved to be shot at, with a lethal weapon, are just as f*cked up as the guy who pulled the trigger. And don't hand me that "I'm holier than thou" bullsh*t either. Everone in here TP'd or soaped, or n*gger-knocked someone's house at one time or another when they were a teenager. That's just what kids do!! Maybe it's not right, but it's a far cry from threatening someone life to the point where deadly force is required to rectify the situation!!!

This guy needs to be brought up on charges for attempted Murder-2 at the very least!

What would you guys have said if the guy had put land mines on his property and one of them was hit by it?

Idiots like this give responsible firearm owners a bad name.

QFT.

Wasn't necessary to shoot at the driving away car, not like the broke in or anything and if anything he could have gotten a shot gun and salt rock if he was aiming to just scare away trespassers or called the cops if it was such an issue.

I agree. I was thinking the same thing--if the gyu would maintain his house, I'm sure it wouldn't be rumoured to be haunted. I mean..c'mon..the guy is a "non-fiction writer" that works out of his house (ie. virtually unemployed) so it's not like he didn't have the time to do the yardwork/maintenance.

Put the guy in the slammer for quite awhile...
