Haunted by WMP 2

I just installed WMP 10 and when I double click a video file it still opens in WMP 2.

I got some error during WMP 10 install saying it couldn't unregister WMP 2.

How can I manually fix it?
 
But even if I got it installed, how do I make WMP 10 the default app for movies, and for browser? It's already setup that way but it's not happening, video files don't open in WMP 10 and videos displayed in browser are shown with older WMP also.

check for it also in the add/remove window componants maybe if you remove it there and dl again you can straighten it out?
