Hating new FaD client CPU rating system

How ridiclous! Even playing something as non-taxing as original Age of Empires can bring me down to mid double digits. Last job should have been worth 15K at least, but got only 10 for it.

Try the 1.25g Beta. It helped bring my ratings better into line from the mess that was 1.25f.

Yeah, that happened to me also when I was using v1.25f. Played some games and the rating for my XP3000+ system dropped down to 3. About 24 hours of crunching resulted in less than 1k points due to that mess...

Like GeoffS and scoser said, get the 1.25g Beta. I'm using that now for nearly a week now and don't seem to be having that problem anymore... *knocks on wooden desk*

I believe FaD is moving towards a computer rating model that uses the elapsed process CPU time x the highest rating for the CPU to determine points. A suggestion I made months and months ago.

We shall see ... however I can confirm that cpu ratings for most of my machines are more in line with what I would expect in the latest beta 1.25g.
