Hate to sound rushed...but help!!!!

So I was building my new rig today and realized that my current case (coolermaster centurian, mid-tower) is clearly not big enough and I need something bigger.

I have:

Gigabyte DS3
intel Core 2 duo e6600
2gigs memory
x1900xt card
DVD burner
floppy
Enhance 5150 PSU

But here is where I run into trouble.

I am running a thermalright SI-128 heatsink with a 120mm fan. This thing was so big I had to remove the 120mm fan on the back. First cautionary flag raised.

Then I mounted the PSU inside and it is about 1-1 1/2inch away from the top of the heatsink. Second raised flag.

Then, all the cables, and it looks messy. Final flag.

So I need to find a full tower case. I don't need anything fancy. Just something under $100 with nice cooling and space...

Hate tto sound rushed, but I need to order this tonight so I can get it on Thursday.

There was a deal to get the P180 for $99 shipped somewhere.. don't remember where. That'd be my recommendation. I have that same setup in a P180. Getting the SI-128 in there was a PITA, but is is a nice case.

Thanks...one thing that happened in his case is I had to remove the 120mm fan in the back.

did you have the same thing happened?
I'd like to get some nice cooling going on in there...

i have always stuck with mid-towers, but the more I get into OC'ing, the more cooling I need.

Get a different HSF like the Thermalright Ultra-120 where the fan's parallel with exhaust fan.

The P180 deal was at Fry's. Pretty sure its over now. Buts thats a great case and you might be able to find one for under $100. Its at $115 at Newegg right now.

Another vote for the P180. I don't have one, but from everything I've read, it will likely be my next case. Main things are size, roomy-ness, 120mm fans, sound dampening (kinda) and PSU location/isolation.

With an E6600, you may regret not having a good tower HSF, especially one that can blow hot air quickly out the back instead of having it bounce off your mobo and swirl around.
