Washington, DC ? Mitch Bainwol, former Chief of Staff to U.S. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-TN), was named today as Chairman & CEO of the Recording Industry Association of America by the RIAA Board of Directors.

The only thing I'm saying by making this post is that there's a headstrong Republican heading up the RIAA. Why the rolling eyes?

Ummm who is it thats investigating the RIAA for their recent actions he deems were taken to far. None other than Norm Colemen, Republican Senator from MI, who is the chairmen of the Senate Subcommitte for Investigations.

Also I might add, its the democrats that are hollywood puppets. Diane Fienstien might have taken the job, except she might have to run for Cali Governer if Riodorin runs.

I have not seen any democrat opposed to the RIAA or MPAA, but there countless republicans that are, they just dont seem to get covered as much.

the principle idea behind the republican party is LESS government invlovement in peoples lives. I dont see where someone who used to work for republicans taking a high paying job makes the republicans bad?

REPOST!!!

No one gave a damn when I posted it. No one better give a damn now either. And don't turn it into a damn political diatribe either. The RIAA has no purpose because I'm an Atheist anyway damnit. 😀

He's a close friend of Bill Frist, Senate majority leader. It's my guess that fights against the RIAA won't get much support in Congress from the majority leader anymore.

Then again though, that's just a guess.
