Winner obviously is Ivy Bridge since it has 2 more cores , and two more threads for 12 threads. People who do DAW, AutoCAD, 3D, Video will want more cores.
so Haswell quad core GPU kills ivys gpu, BUT whos using that , you have a dedicated video card. Once you take out the performance improvement of the GPU on the CPU,, you will realize,,, its same speed as Ivy Bridge.
People who already have Sandy Bridge or Ivy Bridge, if they update to Haswell I hope its for their GPU,, then again what are you doing using a onboard GPU Buy a nice video card,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Haswell is just that a majore GPU impovement,, the CPU itself will get crushed with a Ivy E @ 4.8Ghz 12 threads. Thank you
