Hasbro Zoombox ... any way to mod to change bulb brightness and resoultion?

Stumbled across Hasbro Zoombox projector that runs around $250 or so and began to wonder whether it could be modded into a decent, cheap projector. As is, it uses a cheap bulb (re $7 or so) and has a res less than TV, but can be hooked to cable box, DVD player, etc. Comes with built in DVD player.

I am no techie so don't laugh too hard, but would it be feasible to convert bulb type to brighter OH projector bulb and perhaps modify lens by changing to manually adjustable as from OH projector? If so, might make a cheap projector. Amazon reviews mixed but some are already using it for movies and TV. Linked below

no, and no. gaming on that thing would be horrible, absolutely horrible. extremely poor resolution mixed with terrible pixel resonse time will make you wish you spent that $ on a nice flat screen monitor. contrast ratio is a big thing when it comes to displays, and i'm willing to bet that all the flat screen monitors on newegg have a higher contrast ratio than that thing by better than 3x.
