Still too buggy. I'm on 4.1 until there aren't any show-stopping bugs.

I think 4.2 has the ability to zoom in and out in the gmail app. It made selecting text impossible because the text selector would jump all over the place.

I did 4.2.2 briefly on the Samsung Nexus and the tethering just flat out didn't work. Not with any apps, not with the built-in tethering app.

So I had to go back to 4.1.

i noticed some issues doing that framework thing. so i just reflashed straight to 4.2.2. looks good so far, except i don't get any facebook notifications.

The no FB notifications is from clearing the framework. If memory serves, you can resolve it by uninstalling/reinstalling the FB app?

Has anyone been having tethering issues with 4.2.2 and the Nexus 4?

The Gmail thing you're talking about is a Gmail update. I saw this capability on my SGS2 back when it was on CM10 (4.1.2). Furthermore you can disable that in-app. In fact I had to enable the setting in the app to check out that feature.

Not sure about the tethering part.

Battery life at < 0.8%/hr with the screen off after the wakelock fix.

I feel like the wakelock issue isn't really fixed. It may have improved according to some (to this I challenge with the placebo effect), but for me, here's what I see:

Edit: I wish this board had a hide feature because I hate battery benchmarks as much as the next guy.... heh.

If anyone still hasn't gotten the notice, try clearing cache. Go to Settings -> Apps -> All and look for "Google Service Framework," and clear data. Then reboot, or simply check updates under system status settings.

Can anyone w/ Nexus 7 check if Stickmount works after the update?

My phone was a little screwy after clearing the Services Framework cache to force the update. Did a factory reset, won't be doing that again.

It will be until the device updates and then it should work normally again. I don't feel its worth it for such small updates though.

Nexus 7 had it waiting for me when I got home Tuesday.

Just got it on my N4 yesterday. I don't see any changes...other than the quick airplane mode switch on/off. Wait, was that available on 4.2.1?

Airplane toggle was there in 4.2.1, 4.2.2 added a long press on WiFi and BT to toggle them though.

Are you sure you're not using an old kernel or something? That looks like my screens pre 4.2.2, on 4.2.2 the msim_hsic_host wakelock is about half the amount of power manager whenever I check it.

my father got it on his nexus already. caused a system ui crash report to constantly appear and we had to do a hard reset - luckily he only lost all his text messages (we just happened to install skydrive earlier in the day and uploaded all his pictures). im not sure what caused this issue - might have been some screwy app.
