I'm on hold with Tech support over a really pesty cable modem problem, so anywho I'm talking to this telephone support tech guy and he puts me on hold. Here's my problem, both my legs are shaken really really bad and I gotta pee right now or my bladder is gonna burst. Oiiiiiii I don't have a cordless, WHAT DO I DO???? I don't want to call back and wait another 25 minutes to get a techy and explain everything again then be put on hold for another 15 minutes.

*shakes legs*

Waits for advice! AND NO there are not cups close enough or big enough for me to pee in!

just go to the bathroom! it's not worth developing bladder problems over a phone call.

if he gets off hold and you aren't there, he'll just hang up. you can always call again, except you'll be more comfortable next time.

if he's still holding until you get back, great!

I always keep a empty County Time Lemon Aid jar under my desk. If I'm caught, I just use the jar. Oddly, many people at work have quit drinking lemon aid.

i would have gone, run really fast, and run back to the phone, takes like 30-50 seconds.

in fact, now that i think about it, i have had such a situation where i needed to peee really bad. But instead i actually had a cordless so i was in the restroom peeing. Funny thing was that once i was in the middle of it, the tech person came back on. (i wonder if they heard the water rushing when i flushed it) hehe

what? i always find people calling me while im in the bathroom. one time, I had just gotten in the house, and went to the bathroom. Then got out to the kitchen, and had a msg on my phone. SO i checked it, and I'd called myself, and you could here the &quot;running&quot; water and it was funny, cause my dad had been in the other room talking yellin at the dog.

turn the speaker phone up real high so you can hear from the bath room. Or play some music or record a message to keep playing back to let him know you're still there. Or, pee into a garbage can.
