I have a ECS K7S5A mobo w/ 256k DDR memory running win2k. All of a sudden it freezes. It has been running well for about 6 months. Nothing that I can remember has been added or change. I returned the memory and it ran fine for a month or so, the again it froze. I moved the memory to another slot. Is it possible that the memory slot may not be perfect?? What da ya think?
 
if you want to check out the memory subsystem and make sure its all working right i would run memtest86

if you have a memory problem that is hardware related that proggie will tell you 🙂
