Has there been any benchmarks of the lowest end Conroe and its overclocking ability?

At 3Ghz or so, I'm sure it'd perform a bit less than the higher end Conroes but still be far better than the A64's and X2's. Question is if it can get that high and what the performance numbers are.

The Problem with the E6300 is it x7 Multiplier you need 400 FSB to reach 2.8GHZ, your more likely FSB limited the frequency potential limited.

Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait and see what's the lowest available Conroe to consistently reach 3Ghz.

my e6400 is at 3.0GHz on stock vcore, prime95 stable. I'm waiting till i get my new DDR2-800 before i try and push it any farther. From what I've heard, most e6400s are hitting 3.2-3.4GHz with aftermarket cooling, so that's what I"m shooting for.

i have a e6300 running at 3.0 gigs....its just above stock voltage the really only thing i had to touch was my mch and fsb termination voltage...but other than that my cpu heat didnt go up much either...only about 3 degrees celcius...i started at 27 c with water cooled and its now at 30 c not bad for what i got!!! after all i only paid 219 for my e6300 not a bad price for performance if you ask me

i did push it to 3.3 but it wouldng pass my prime 95 test...although it would boot up and run programs
