warriors have a legit shot at making it past the first round

Did you honestly type that with a straight face?

Tell me why the warriors don't have a shot at beating the Mavs.

I only need one letter: D.

but you cannot just write off the warriors, their record after the break speaks for itself.
they're on a crazy run.

18-10 since the break. That's .643.
The Mavs winning percentage for the season: .817.
The Mavs winning percentage until they clinched the west: .829.
The Mavs winning percentage after the break: 23-6, .793.
The Mavs winning percentage after the break until they clinched: 19-4, .826.

FYI I am counting the Portland win on April 7 as the day the Mavs clinched the West, I might be wrong. But either way that's about when they stopped playing as hard. At the very least you can't count the Utah and GSW losses against them since their 3 best players were in street clothes.

So you see, "crazy run" is relative. 3 13+ game win streaks in a season and a 67 win season is more of a "crazy run" to me but hey I guess I am spoiled.

edit: Just wanted to point out yes I am a huge mavs fan but that doesn't change the facts. I would stake my life that this series won't go to 7. I say 5 but 6 is possible. Sorry just wanted to say that before someone else points it out.

Hahaha.

I hope the Warriors take the Mavs to the cleaners.

Dallas practically handed the Warriors their playoff birth because they wanted to play Golden State rather than the Clippers and look where it has gotten them. HAHAHAHA.

Finally, payback for eliminating the Kings in 02-03.

Hindsight has nothing to do with it.

They should have just played basketball instead of trying to manipulate the race for eighth.

Not to mention Don Nelson's son is a member of the Dallas front office.

The whole thing just stinks. Now the Mavs and that idiot Mark Cuban are getting what they deserve.

there once was this guy who made really cool sculptures i mean totally bitchin ones. but he never showed them to anyone he'd always smash them and tear them apart right after he made them. one day they found him dead in his studio he had beat himself to death against his newest creation, trying to destroy it. they pulled his broken body off of the intact but blood-spattered sculpture and tossed it aside. they sold his masterpiece for a fabulous amount of money, it was really valuable because the artist had just died and it was like the best sculpture ever.
